Purpose: Resize an image, make other changes and find its properties.

Make the group depending upon the class strength.
Ideally not more than 3 students per device.

    Children learn to take a picture and resize it to a particular size. They can also learn to compress the image Online and they can learn to upload the file.

    Teacher Instructions
    1. Explain the activity before starting the class.
    2. Explain what is a pixel, what are the dimensions of a picture etc. Show the sizes of various pictures. Explain how zooming doesnt change the underlying resolution and show pixelation when you zoom a small picture to big resolution. Explain aspect ratio.
    3. Use technical names for example Resize, upload, download, resolution, aspect ratio etc.
    4. At the end of the class explain to the children what they did in this activity.
